‘Dark Side Of The Moon’ (Movie Making / Editing) Storyboard. This is our storyboard for our film, we know that preparing for the film correctly was the best way to succeed with the outcome of our production. We decided to work in scenes and therefore it would be easy to follow when we came to film. We also planned out all of the characters , plot and motives for the film.. Cinematic ideas. At the beginning , Tom has a flashback to his dads death, we use a zoom in to give off a flashback / dream effect using Toms eye as the transporter to his mind. We will use non diegetic sound to imply a gun shot. The lighting is low key becuase tom is traumatised , our genre is thriller so low key lighting will illuminate this effect and give off a certain sense of danger. We also used limited speech dialogue and more diegetic sounds to not spoil the atmosphere , keep it mysterious and silent. Scenes. 1) Tom has a flashback to his dads death -
